Brad Saindon will Bring International and Collegiate Experience to the Sound Premier Volleyball Team as an Assistant Coach in 2013

The Sound Premier Volleyball Team has added Western Oregon University Head Coach Brad Saindon to its coaching staff for the 2013 exhibition season.  Saindon will assist head coach Bill Neville and brings a solid resume of collegiate and international experience to the program’s second season in the Premier Volleyball League, a grass roots effort by USA Volleyball to establish a professional volleyball league in the United States.

His experience in the United States includes head coaching tenures at Arizona State University, The University of Colorado and Regis College in Denver.  Saindon also coached the Australian Women’s National Team in the 2000 Sydney Olympics and has served as an assistant coach for the USA Men’s National Team on two separate occasions.  He is part of the USA Volleyball Coaching Accreditation Program Instructor Cadre.

“By adding Brad Saindon to our coaching staff, we have put ourselves in a position to have the best women’s players in our region working with two coaches with International experience,” said USA Volleyball Puget Sound Region Commissioner John Bryant.

“Having coaches of this caliber involved with our program helps bring a feeling of legitimacy to the Premier Volleyball League efforts in the Puget Sound and beyond.  We are paving the road for something really special,” Bryant continued.
Open tryouts for the team are February 3rd at Nevillisms in Bellevue, Washington from 9am to 2:30pm.  The team’s first exhibition will be February 22 at Sunrise Courts in Puyallup.
