There are only single seats remaining in the lower bowl of Key Arena. These tickets have sold faster than expected and according to a source sales are well ahead of where they were this time last year for the National Championship held in Louisville, KY.
Entire Upper Bowl is Available
After reportedly deliberating whether to close off the upper bowl of the arena, the NCAA has made all of the upper bowl seats available for purchase. This decision appears to be fueled by a strong pre-sale in the Region and shows that the NCAA is hopeful of having a full stadium for the event.
Majority of the Marketing for the Event Appears Yet to Come
There is rumor that the NCAA is not planning on ramping up marketing to the general public until the October/November time frame. It can also be assumed that much of the marketing that takes place for the event will be centered around UW volleyball matches. These factors combined with a strong pre-sale send the message that volleyball diehards should not wait to get their tickets.
